Roll back changes
Every deploy is automatically backed up. If something breaks, you can return to any earlier version.
How backups work
Every time your site deploys — every change Claude makes, every direct edit — Lanlan saves a snapshot of your text files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SVG). You don't have to do anything; it's automatic.
A snapshot doesn't include media (images, video, fonts) or your collections, forms, and analytics data. Those are managed separately. If you delete media, it goes into a 30-day soft-delete bin before it's permanently removed — a separate kind of safety net.
How long backups are kept
Different plans keep different amounts of history:
- Free — 5 most recent snapshots, plus one per day for the last 7 days (about 12 total).
- Make-it-mine — 10 recent snapshots, plus one per day for the last 30 days (about 40 total).
- For-Organizations — 10 recent snapshots, plus one per day for the last 90 days (about 100 total).
Older snapshots are pruned automatically.
Roll back to a snapshot
Open your dashboard's snapshots page. You'll see your recent deployments with the time of each one and a Preview link to look before you commit. When you find the one you want, click Restore and confirm.

The restore replaces your live text files with the snapshot's contents and redeploys. Your media, collections, form submissions, and analytics aren't touched.
You can also do this in Claude:
- "Show me my recent snapshots."
- "Restore the snapshot from yesterday afternoon."
A few things to know
- Restore isn't reversible by itself. When you restore, the version you had right before is replaced. If you change your mind, you'll need to restore a newer snapshot — so check the preview carefully before confirming.
- You can ask Claude to undo recent changes too. "Go back to how the headline was before." This works on small, recent changes — it's not the same as a full rollback, but it's faster for typo-fixing.
- Snapshots only cover text files. A page Claude built last week is recoverable. An image you uploaded and then deleted is recoverable from the media bin (30 days) but not from snapshots.
